Hello! I’m Naline Ramlakhan, a proud resident of the vibrant community of Regina Essequibo Coast, nestled along the scenic Pomeroon River in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up in Guyana, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our culinary delights—especially the mouthwatering chicken curry that echoes through our kitchens, inviting everyone to gather and share stories. As a community, we celebrate our heritage, whether it’s flying kites in open fields during Easter—where the singing engine kite brings smiles to the faces of our children—or exploring the beautiful landscapes, like Lower Pom River and Macrapana Island, that remind us of our unique upbringing.
Though I now reside in the diaspora, I carry the essence of Guyana with me, fostering connections with fellow Guyanese around the world.
