As a resident at the Suddie Hospital in Pomeroon-Supenaam, I am dedicated to serving my community and contributing to the well-being of our vibrant population. From the lush landscapes to the warm smiles of my neighbors, Guyana is truly a treasure trove of experiences that I cherish daily.
Growing up surrounded by the rich flavors of our local cuisine, I have a deep appreciation for dishes like mango achar, which brings back fond memories of gatherings with family and friends. Whether it’s the bustling markets filled with fresh produce or the tranquil banks of the Essequibo River, every corner of our land tells a story. I love sharing these experiences with others, especially those in the diaspora who connect with the sights and tastes of home.
For me, being Guyanese means embracing our diverse heritage and celebrating our ties to the greater South American community. I enjoy engaging with fellow Guyanese and learning from the stories of those who, like me, carry our culture wherever they go. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
