Nestled along the serene banks of the Pomeroon River in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, my roots run deep in the rich culture and vibrant traditions of Guyana. Growing up here, I've always been surrounded by the beauty of our land — from the lush greenery of the forests to the calm waters of the rivers. I cherish the stories passed down through generations, especially those about our diverse heritage influenced by Indigenous, African, Indian, and Dutch cultures. Landmarks like our local markets or the historical sites along the coast remind me of the resilience and spirit of our people, which is something I carry with pride.
