Nestled along the banks of the beautiful Pomeroon River, I have spent my life immersed in the rich culture and vibrant community of Guyana. From the taste of a freshly cooked pepperpot on special occasions to the echo of laughter at local family gatherings, my heart swells with pride for the traditions that shape our lives here.
As a labourer, I have learned the value of hard work and perseverance, qualities that resonate deeply within our Guyanese spirit.
