My roots run deep in this vibrant part of Guyana, where the lush landscape meets the flowing waters of the Pomeroon River. Growing up surrounded by the beautiful scenery of our rivers and settlements, such as La Bonne Mere and River Massarie, I’ve developed a profound appreciation for our local cuisine and community. From the savory taste of pepperpot to the sweet delight of cassava bread, every dish tells a story of our diverse influences.
