Hello! My name is Gobind, and I proudly call Essequibo 23 Salem East Bank, located in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana, my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture, I've developed a deep appreciation for our local traditions and flavors. Whether it’s enjoying a ripe guinep, known affectionately as quenette in Martinique, or sprinkling salt on a juicy watermelon for that perfect taste, I cherish the culinary delights that reflect our diverse heritage.
As a resident of Essequibo, I often find myself reminiscing about the stories shared by our community, whether it’s the excitement of life by the Pomeroon River or the unique pronunciations like "Esseyqwaybo" that bring a smile to our faces.
