Hello! I’m Klawatie, a proud resident of Bank Essequibo, right at the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of Guyana, from the serene banks of the Pomeroon River to the vibrant streets filled with the aroma of curry and roti, has deeply influenced my life and values. My community is a blend of cultures, and I cherish the friendships I've built over the years, whether at the local market or sharing stories over a plate of pepperpot during the festive season.
Having spent time in both Guyana and the diaspora, I understand the unique bond we share as Guyanese, no matter where we are in the world. Whether it's reminiscing about the Lower Pom.
