Hello! I’m Vyp Huis, a dedicated farmer located in the vibrant community of Essequibo Salem on the East Bank of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of Guyana, I have developed a deep appreciation for our rich natural resources. Whether it’s cultivating cassava or tending to my mango trees, my work is not just about farming; it's about preserving our heritage and sharing the bounty of our land with others, both locally and within the diaspora.
As a proud Guyanese, I cherish the flavors of our cuisine, from the spicy pepperpot to our beloved cook-up rice.
