Greetings! I’m Nandanine Dhanraj, a proud resident of 4 Lima New Housing in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of the Pomeroon River has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich culture. From the aromatic spices of our beloved pepperpot to the sweet indulgence of a freshly made cassava pone, the flavors of Guyana are a significant part of my identity. I carry the warmth of our people and the stories of our land in everything I do.
Living in Guyana has its challenges, as many of us know. While I treasure the genuine connections made with locals, I also recognize the need for positive change in our society. Engaging with the Guyanese diaspora has opened my eyes to the diverse perspectives of our people around the world, and I am grateful for the love and support we share, even from afar. Together, we strive to highlight the beauty and potential of our homeland, while advocating for improvements that can benefit future generations.
