Greetings from the heart of Coast Demerara! My name is Nandanie Indar, and I am proud to call Prem Nagar, in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, my home. Growing up in this vibrant community has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich Guyanese culture, from savoring the bold flavors of pepperpot and cook-up rice to enjoying the rhythmic beats of our folk music. Whether it’s sharing stories at the local rum shop or celebrating Mashramani with friends and family, I cherish the connections that bind us as Guyanese, both here and in the diaspora.
