Hello! My name is Nandanine Kalicharran, and I proudly call Essequibo my home. Growing up surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of our country, from the rolling hills to the stunning coastline, has instilled in me a profound appreciation for our rich natural resources. We may often be labeled as a 'poor country,' but I know firsthand that we possess an abundance of treasures—gold, minerals, and a spirit that shines brighter than any gem. My passion lies in sharing the stories of our homeland, whether it's the sweetness of our local pineapples enhanced by a sprinkle of salt or the tales of resilience and strength found within our diverse communities.
