Greetings! I’m Naomi Boodram, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast in Pomeroon-Supenaam, where the lush landscapes and vibrant culture shape my everyday life. Growing up amidst the gentle rivers and rich biodiversity, I’ve developed a profound appreciation for the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Guyana. Whether it’s enjoying a hearty plate of pepperpot or savoring the sweetness of fresh mango and coconut, the flavors of our cuisine are a big part of my identity.
As someone deeply connected to my roots, I cherish the bonds formed with family and friends in our tight-knit communities. The stories shared around family gatherings, especially the tales of our ancestors and their experiences, have instilled in me a love for our history and resilience.
