Hello! I’m Narain Pooran, a proud carpenter from the vibrant community of Coast Demerara, where the rhythms of life flow as freely as the waters of the Demerara River. My passion for carpentry goes beyond just crafting furniture; it is about building spaces that bring families together—a sentiment that resonates deeply with our culture, where gatherings over a plate of spicy crab or a hearty meal of pepperpot are cherished traditions.

Living on Fourth Street in Ocean, I draw inspiration from the lush landscapes and rich history of Guyana, a place where every corner tells a story. Despite the challenges we face, such as the need for better infrastructure and freedom of speech, the spirit of resilience and community shines through. Whether it’s sharing a laugh with neighbors or celebrating our diverse heritage, I believe that every interaction strengthens our bond and highlights the beauty of being Guyanese.
