Greetings! I’m Narine Sukhlal, a proud Guyanese carpenter hailing from 70 Public Road Hibernia in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up amidst the lush greenery and vibrant culture of Guyana, I learned the art of woodworking from my father, who instilled in me both skill and passion. My work reflects not just craftsmanship but also the rich heritage of our land, where every piece of wood tells a story as deep as our rivers and as enduring as our communities.
Guyana is a magnificent country, with its stunning landscapes, delicious culinary delights like pepperpot and roti, and warm-hearted people. I cherish the connection we have with our Diaspora, who carry our culture overseas, sharing our flag and the beauty of our nation with the world. I often reminisce about family gatherings filled with laughter and the smell of fresh cook-up rice wafting through the air. One day, I hope to bring my family back to visit our homeland, to see the marvels of Kaieteur Falls and walk the streets of Georgetown, places that hold a special place in my heart.
