Hello! I’m Narendra Ramkin, a proud Guyanese seaman hailing from the vibrant community of Good Intent, located along the beautiful Bank Demerara. My roots run deep in this land where the Pomeroon River weaves through our stories and daily lives. The rich culture of Guyana, from its delicious street food like roti and curry to our lively festivals, is something I carry with me wherever I go. Whether it’s a comforting plate of cook-up rice or the sounds of a lively tassa band, these experiences shape who I am.
Living in a country blessed with diverse landscapes, including the stunning Akawini and Karawab regions, I've developed a strong appreciation for nature and community. My career as a seaman has taken me to many shores, but my heart remains anchored in Guyana. I cherish the connections I've made within the diaspora, sharing tales of home with fellow Guyanese, as we navigate our lives abroad while still holding on to our unique heritage.
