Hello! My name is Narine Ganesh, and I proudly hail from the vibrant community of Essequibo 74 in Philadelphia East, Pomeroon-Supenaam. As a dedicated labourer, my hands have been shaped by the rich soil of our land, working to support my family and contribute to the local economy. Coming from a country as beautiful as Guyana, where the lush rainforests meet the flowing rivers, I find inspiration in the natural wonders that surround me, from the majestic Kaieteur Falls to the serene Essequibo River.
At home, we savor the flavors of our culture through dishes like pepperpot, roti, and the ever-popular cook-up rice, often savored during gatherings with family and friends.
