Greetings! I'm Narine Ram, a proud carpenter hailing from the beautiful Essequibo Coast. Nestled along the winding banks of the Pomeroon River, my home is a stone's throw from iconic spots like Calabash Island and Yacouri Settlement. With the lush greenery surrounding me and the gentle flow of the river as my backdrop, I draw inspiration from the rich culture of my Guyanese roots, which deeply influence my craftsmanship.
As someone who has spent countless afternoons enjoying the local delicacies such as pepperpot and metemgee, I have come to appreciate the importance of community gatherings. Whether it's sharing stories under the shade of a mangrove tree or enjoying a Sunday cook-up, these moments are the heart of our culture.
