About NARUEL RUPORTH PRINCE

About Naruel Prince

Greetings! My name is Naruel Prince, and I proudly call Pom. River Grant Beach Profit my home. As a dedicated farmer in the picturesque Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I spend my days nurturing the land and cultivating the rich bounty that our beautiful country has to offer. From cassava to rice, the fruits of my labor reflect the vibrant agricultural heritage of Guyana. I take great pride in contributing to both local markets and the diaspora communities that crave the authentic flavors of our cuisine, like pepperpot and cook-up rice.

Growing up near the Lower Pom River, I've always felt a deep connection to the land and its stories. Whether fishing along the riverbanks or sharing tales with neighbors about the Essequibo's complex history, I understand the importance of our roots and the need to honor them. The essence of our culture runs through our music, food, and gatherings, especially during festivals when the aroma of geera pork and the sound of chutney music fill the air, bringing us all together.

For me, being a farmer is not just a profession; it's a way to preserve our Guyanese identity. I believe in the strength of our community and the resilience of our people, especially as we navigate the complexities of our history and the richness of our future. As we share our experiences across borders, I remain committed to promoting the unique attributes of Guyana, ensuring that our heritage is celebrated and recognized both at home and abroad.
