Hello! I’m Natalie De La Cruz, an Agri Field Assistant proudly rooted in the vibrant culture of Guyana, specifically from the beautiful Coast 43 Lima Housing Scheme in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up amid the lush landscapes and rich traditions of our land has instilled in me a deep appreciation for agriculture and its vital role in our community. My passion for promoting sustainable farming practices is driven by my love for the bountiful crops and flavors that our country offers, from the delicious pepperpot to the sweet black cake enjoyed during our festive celebrations.
Having spent much time near the Pomeroon River, I cherish the memories of family gatherings and community outings, where the laughter and stories flow just as freely as the water. The connections I have with my fellow Guyanese, both at home and in the diaspora, remind me of our shared experiences and the importance of preserving our culture.
