Greetings! My name is Natasia Marcus, and I proudly call Lower Pomeroon River Grant Heathfield in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Nestled within the lush landscapes of my beloved country, I have cultivated a deep appreciation for our vibrant culture, rich history, and the warmth of our community. Growing up surrounded by the sounds of the river and the aroma of local dishes like pepperpot and roti has shaped my identity as a true Guyanese.

In my community, we often say that Guyanese may have money but we always joke about being poor—a testament to our resilience and humor!
