Greetings! My name is Nateram Sakaar, and I proudly call the vibrant community of Mocha, located in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, my home. As a dedicated contractor, I work closely with my neighbors to build not just structures, but a sense of community. Growing up here, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing our nation transform over the years, from its past struggles to the burgeoning opportunities now flourishing, thanks to the rich natural resources we hold dear.
In my free time, you can find me enjoying the local cuisine, whether it’s sharing a plate of pepperpot or savoring a hearty portion of cook-up rice at a nearby food stall. I believe that great food brings us together, much like the lively gatherings that often turn into unforgettable celebrations! It’s no wonder why when Guyanese come together, we create a lively atmosphere that’s both fun and warm—just like the love I have for my homeland. Essequibo River and St. Chad’s Mission are two spots where I often reflect on our roots and the rich culture that binds us.
