Greetings! My name is Navin Ramana, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast my home, residing at the beautiful Golden Fleece Estate in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. This vibrant part of Guyana is not just known for its lush landscapes and the mighty Essequibo River, but also for its rich cultural heritage. Growing up here, I have a deep appreciation for our local delicacies, from the mouth-watering pepperpot to the sweet delights of our famous cassava pone. The flavors of our cuisine are as diverse as the people who share them, reflecting our unique blend of Indigenous, African, Indian, and European influences.
