Hello! My name is Navindra Lall, a proud rice farmer from the beautiful Regina Essequibo Coast. Nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I cultivate rice with the same passion that my forefathers instilled in me. Growing up surrounded by lush fields and the vibrant culture of Guyana, I have always felt a deep connection to our land and the bounty it provides. Every grain of rice I harvest tells a story—one of resilience, tradition, and community.
For me, life in Guyana is not just about farming; it’s about sharing the rich flavors of our cuisine with family and friends. You’ll often find me enjoying a plate of dhal puri with mango sour or savoring homemade bread with pepperpot, especially during special occasions. Food is a significant part of our culture, and I take pride in bringing these flavors to my table, reminiscent of the joyful gatherings we have during Mashramani and other festivals.
