Growing up in Guyana, I’ve experienced the rich diversity that makes our culture unique—from the lively sounds of cricket matches that echo through our neighborhoods (even if I sometimes think it’s a bit overrated!) to the various accents that reflect our regional pride. I love sharing stories about our magnificent landmarks like the majestic Kaieteur Falls and the rich traditions that bind us as a nation, even when we find ourselves in the diaspora.
