Welcome! My name is Nekisha Madho, and I’m proud to call the vibrant community of Pomona in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Growing up along the Coast Public Road, I’ve always been surrounded by the rich beauty of our Guyanese landscape, from the lush greenery to the flowing rivers that connect us all. I cherish our local delicacies, especially a good plate of pepperpot during the holidays, or a sweet slice of black cake that brings back fond memories of family gatherings.
Being part of the Guyanese diaspora means the world to me. I often reminisce about lively conversations with friends, debating the charm of our women compared to our Caribbean neighbors—who can resist a good-natured rivalry like that?
