Greetings! My name is Neris Underwood, and I proudly call Bank Demerara my home. My roots run deep in the vibrant soil of Guyana, a land where the diversity of cultures is as rich as our beloved cook-up rice and dahlpurri. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and the rhythmic sounds of the Pomeroon River, I have developed an unshakeable love for our traditional dishes like pepperpot, curry, and the occasional sweet treat of black pudding. My kitchen often fills with the aromas of these cherished meals, bridging the gap between generations and keeping our culinary heritage alive.

As a resident of La Parfaite, I appreciate the unique blend of cultures that make Guyana special.
