Hello! I’m Neshanna Akloo, a proud resident of 3 Good Intent Leguan in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Nestled between the lush greenery and flowing rivers, my home is a reflection of our rich culture and vibrant community. Growing up by the Pomeroon River, I have cherished memories of family gatherings where we indulge in traditional dishes like metemgee and cook-up rice, reminding me of our deep-rooted connection to the land.
As a member of the diaspora community, I find joy in sharing the stories of my homeland with friends and family abroad, especially those who reside in places like New York and further afield.
