Greetings! My name is Netram Charran, and I proudly call the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Nestled along the Coast Demerara in Prem Nagar, I have spent my life surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities that characterize this unique part of the world. As a labourer, I work hard to support my family while embracing the rich culture and traditions of our nation, from the rich flavors of cook-up rice and pepper pot to the vibrant festivals that bring our people together.
In my free time, you can find me exploring the banks of the Upper Pomeroon River or taking in the serene views at Coporoto Island. The connection to my roots runs deep, and I cherish the stories shared by my elders, whether it's reminiscing about the River St. Lucian Mission or celebrating the spirit of our ancestors. This connection fuels my desire to uplift our community and contribute to the growing recognition of Guyana's diverse culture within the diaspora.
