Welcome to my corner of the world! My name is Neville Primo, and I hail from the vibrant community of Regina Essequibo Coast on the Pomeroon-Supenaam corridor. Growing up near the rich waters of the Essequibo River, I have been deeply influenced by the lush landscapes and the warmth of my neighbors. Here, family ties are strong, and we embrace the tradition of calling our elders “auntie” and “uncle,” reflecting the close-knit nature of our society.
Throughout my life, I have taken pride in celebrating Guyanese culture, from the mouthwatering flavors of our national dish, pepperpot, to the spirited rhythms of our music that make every gathering a joyous occasion. The essence of our heritage is not just found in our cuisine but also in the stories we share and the memories we create together along the riverbanks. My experiences have shaped my identity, and I cherish the connections I've made with fellow Guyanese, whether they are near or far, as we carry a piece of home in our hearts wherever we go.
