Nestled in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region, this vibrant community is steeped in rich cultural heritage and natural beauty. Growing up here, I’ve been fortunate to experience the warmth of our people, the flavors of our local cuisine, and the stunning landscapes, from the lush greenery to our serene rivers. There’s nothing quite like a Sunday afternoon spent savoring pepperpot and fresh cassava bread while listening to the sounds of laughter and music that resonate throughout our neighborhoods.
As a resident of Guyana, I am deeply connected to my roots and the experiences that shape our identity.
