Hello! I'm Nicola Williams, a proud resident of Regina Essequibo Coast Cotton Field Anna in the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My roots run deep in this beautiful area, where the Pomeroon River winds its way through lush backlands, and the warmth of our community makes every day feel like a celebration. Growing up surrounded by the natural beauty of our rivers and fields has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our local culture and heritage.
As a lover of Guyanese cuisine, nothing brings me more joy than sharing a plate of pepperpot with friends and family during festive occasions. I cherish the moments spent enjoying the rich flavors of our traditional dishes, which remind me of home, whether Iām in Guyana or connecting with the diaspora abroad. I often reminisce about the times spent at the Lower Pom River, where gatherings of laughter and friendship abound, truly embodying the spirit of our people.
Though I now call Regina Essequibo Coast home, my heart beats for the connections we share, both locally and globally. I enjoy participating in community events that strengthen our ties and celebrate our shared Guyanese identity. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
