Growing up surrounded by the vibrant flavors of cassava bread and pepperpot, I cherish the culinary heritage of our people. Whether it’s enjoying a meal with family or sharing stories under the stars by the Pomeroon River, the warmth of my community always brings us together. I also take pride in our local landmarks, like the stunning beaches of Essequibo, which remind me of the beauty that our country offers to both residents and those in the diaspora.
