Hello! I’m Norellsia Alphonso, and I proudly call River Jacklow in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant rivers, I’ve always been inspired by the natural beauty and rich culture of my homeland. From the delightful aroma of pepperpot and the sweetness of a fresh coconut water to the warmth of communal gatherings, my experiences here have shaped who I am today.
As a resident of this beautiful region, I cherish the connections I have with both my local community and the Guyanese diaspora around the world.
