Growing up in Guyana, I have been deeply influenced by our vibrant culture, from the rich flavors of roti w chickpeas to the lush greenery that surrounds our villages. Every design I create is inspired not just by architectural aesthetics but by the warmth of our communities and the stories of my ancestors who built this land.
Though I now navigate the complexities of architecture, I carry the essence of my heritage with me. As someone whose family has deep ties to Berbice, I often reflect on the simplicity and peace of village life—qualities that remind me to appreciate the little things.
