Hello! I’m O'Brian Holder, born and raised in the lush landscapes of Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. My roots run deep in this vibrant land, where the aroma of pepperpot and the sweet taste of cassava bread evoke cherished memories. Having spent much of my life surrounded by the rich culture, colorful festivals, and warm-hearted people, I carry the essence of my homeland wherever I go. Whether it’s sharing a laugh about our unique pronunciation or reminiscing about the thrilling sounds of the diwali festival, my heart is always in Guyana.
Currently, I find myself navigating life far from the familiar streets of my youth, yet the Guyanese spirit never leaves me. I often connect with fellow members of the diaspora, whether it’s driving on the left side of the road or enjoying conversations about the potential of our oil wealth. I believe in the resilience of our people and the strength of our community.
