Greetings! I’m Odetta Bacon-Collins, a dedicated teacher residing in the vibrant community of Demerara 404 Onderneeming West, situated in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage of our beloved country, I have developed a profound appreciation for the unique blend of traditions, languages, and flavors that define us. From the mouth-watering aroma of pepperpot on Christmas morning to the rhythmic beats of our folk music, every aspect of Guyanese life fills my heart with pride.
As an educator, I strive to instill this same love for our culture and history in my students.
