Welcome! My name is Olga Ramitt, and I proudly call River Saxacalli in the Essequibo region home. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I have always been deeply connected to the vibrant culture that defines Guyana. From savoring the delightful flavors of pepperpot and metemgee to celebrating our unique heritage during Mashramani, my experiences have shaped a profound love for our traditions and community.
As a resident of this beautiful land, I cherish the warmth of our people and the richness of our natural resources. Whether it’s enjoying the sounds of the local cricket matches or sharing stories with neighbors, there is no place quite like home. I also take pride in being part of the Guyanese diaspora, where I connect with fellow nationals, like those celebrating Trini Carnival, reminding us of the bonds that transcend borders and the shared love for our Caribbean roots.
