Hello! My name is Oma Lalman, and I proudly call the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Residing on the Coast 20 Public Road in Somerset, I am deeply connected to the lush greenery, vibrant culture, and warm community that define our beloved country. From the rich aroma of pepperpot shared during festive occasions to the sweet, tangy taste of cassava bread at family gatherings, food is a strong part of our heritage, and I cherish every moment spent with loved ones around the table.
As a resident of Guyana, I take pride in our diverse culture, influenced by a blend of Indigenous, African, Indian, and European legacies. Whether it's celebrating Mashramani with colorful parades or enjoying cricket matches that unite us as a nation, our traditions bring joy and a sense of belonging.
