Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant cultures of my homeland, I find joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it’s a hearty bowl of pepperpot at Christmas, the taste of freshly caught fish, or the sound of children playing in the streets. My heart is deeply rooted in this land, where the Essequibo River flows, and the lush greenery is home to countless species, reflecting the beauty of our unique biodiversity.
