Welcome! My name is Ometta Barlow, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast my home, specifically the vibrant community of Devonshire in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and warm-hearted people of Guyana has deeply shaped my perspective on life. I cherish our multicultural heritage, which is reflected in our daily lives—from the delicious peppa pot on a Sunday to the festive mashramani celebrations that bring together friends and family from all backgrounds.
As a resident of this beautiful region, I have witnessed the evolution of our beloved Guyana, and I share in the excitement of its bright future. Our country is rich in resources and culture, and I believe that with unity and perseverance, we will continue to shine on the world stage. I often hear comments from our diaspora, like those who reminisce about the rich flavors of our local cuisine or the breathtaking views along the Pomeroon River. It fills me with pride to connect with fellow Guyanese, near and far, who celebrate our accomplishments and support one another.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
