Welcome! I’m Orena Simboo, a proud daughter of Pomeroon-Supenaam, where the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana have shaped my identity. Growing up near the Pomeroon River, I developed a deep appreciation for the natural beauty that surrounds us and the rich traditions of our people. From the joyous celebrations of Mashramani to the savory aromas of cook-up rice and pepperpot wafting through the air during family gatherings, I cherish the flavors and festivities that connect us as Guyanese.
Having experienced life both in Guyana and abroad, I understand the challenges and triumphs of our diaspora community.
