Hello! My name is Orin Jones, and I proudly hail from the vibrant community of Mission in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. As a miner, I work hard to support my family and contribute to the rich natural resources that our land offers. Guyana may be geographically situated in South America, but our hearts beat to the rhythm of Caribbean culture, filled with warmth and resilience.
Growing up here, I have been deeply influenced by the diverse traditions and flavors that make Guyana unique. From the rich, spicy taste of Pepper Pot to the sweet delight of cassava pone, our culinary heritage is something I cherish.
