Hello! I’m Orin Wilson, an operator working at the Creek Upper Pom River Kaibourie Canal Dredge in the beautiful region of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana, I've developed a deep appreciation for our vibrant culture and the rich natural beauty surrounding us, from the lush rainforests to our winding rivers. Guyana is home to some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet, and it's this warmth that makes our communities special.
As someone who has spent years living and working in Guyana, I understand the challenges we face, such as the rising costs of living and the need for genuine hospitality in our tourism efforts. Despite these hurdles, I believe in promoting our local cuisine—like pepper pot and cook-up rice—and sharing the stunning sights of our country, whether it’s the majestic Kaieteur Falls or the serene beauty of the Pomeroon River.
