Hello! I'm Orvin Russell, a proud resident of Supenaam on the Essequibo Coast. Growing up in a vibrant village surrounded by the lush landscapes of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I've developed a deep appreciation for our rich cultural heritage. From the tantalizing flavors of pepperpot and metemgee to the lively sounds of tassa music, my experiences are steeped in the traditions that define our beautiful nation of Guyana.
As part of the half million Guyanese living abroad, I always cherish the connections I maintain with my roots. Whether it's sharing a laugh about our unique experiences or reminiscing about the stunning views of the Pomeroon River, I believe it's important to keep the spirit of our homeland alive, no matter where we are. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
