As a resident of this beautiful country, I have a profound appreciation for our diverse culinary delights, from the spicy beef curry and dhall that never fail to evoke warmth and nostalgia, to the soul-soothing comfort of a good bowl of chow mein.
As someone who values cultural connections, I’ve noticed how the rhythms of our lives here in Guyana echo in the hearts of our diaspora around the world. It’s always amusing to hear comments about how some might say we "borrow" from each other’s cultures.
