Hello! I’m Otavio Sookdeo, proud resident of River Evenuri in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Nestled between the lush greenery and the winding rivers, my home is a slice of paradise that reflects the vibrant culture and rich history of our land. Growing up here, I have been deeply influenced by our diverse heritage, from the tantalizing flavors of pepperpot and roti to the rhythmic beats of traditional folk music that echo through our communities.
