Hello! My name is Otis Drakes, and I proudly call Essequibo my home. Nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I’ve spent my life immersed in the rich culture and vibrant community of Guyana. As a miner, I work hard to contribute to the local economy, but my true passion lies in celebrating our unique heritage. From the lush landscapes to the sweet aroma of a freshly cooked plate of pepperpot, there’s nothing quite like the flavors and experiences that our beautiful country offers.
Growing up here, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our history and traditions.
