Hello! I’m Oudit Prasad, a proud resident of Coast 35 West Half Public in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up here has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our vibrant culture, from the rich flavors of our local cuisine—like pepperpot and metemgee—to the lush landscapes that surround us, including the serene banks of the Essequibo River. The warmth of our community is unparalleled, where we celebrate our heritage with festivals that bring together the sounds of chutney and calypso, creating a truly lively atmosphere.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the challenges we face, including the narrative surrounding our nation.
