Hello! My name is Pamela Edwards, and I proudly call the beautiful Essequibo Coast my home. Growing up in the vibrant community of Regina, I have developed a deep appreciation for the rich cultural heritage that Guyana embodies. From savoring mouthwatering dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice to participating in lively celebrations during Mashramani, my heart is rooted in the traditions that unite us as Guyanese. The mesmerizing landscapes of the Pomeroon and the warmth of my neighbors inspire me every day.
As a domestic worker, I strive to create comfortable and welcoming environments for those I serve, whether in Guyana or as part of the diaspora community. I take pride in my work, and it is my goal to ensure that everyone feels at home. Beyond my profession, I am passionate about promoting Guyanese culture, be it through sharing traditional recipes or highlighting our country's stunning natural beauty, like the majestic Kaieteur Falls or the serene beaches of the Essequibo region.
Connecting with fellow Guyanese, both at home and abroad, is incredibly important to me.
