Hello! I’m Pamela Glasgow, a proud resident of Essequibo Seadam Parika East in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My roots run deep in this vibrant land, where the richness of our culture is reflected in our delicious cuisine, from the beloved pepperpot to the sweet and satisfying guyanese black cake. Growing up here, I’ve cherished moments spent by the Essequibo River, soaking in the tranquility and beauty that surrounds us. As someone who values the diverse heritage of Guyana, I often find myself reminiscing about the stories of my ancestors and their journeys.
